Children learn to read and subsequently read to learn. I created and co-founded Smart Kidz Club, a digital tool that enhances the reading and learning outcomes for young children by combining the power of mobile technology with the "just right" content for young kids. I envision Smart Kidz Club as being a place for all parents, teachers, and young children around the world to learn lessons that are relevant to our modern times and to prepare children for global academic advantage. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
