Nasr Merawza I 11:58 am, 15th November
The upcoming TNT Symposium, titled Back to the Future, is set to take place on November 19, 2024, at European Convention Center Luxembourg. In this new edition, attendees are invited to explore the history of technological dreams, examining their impact on our world today and exploring the innovations that will shape our tomorrow.
Luxembourg: A rising leader in technological innovation and digital infrastructure
Luxembourg is positioning itself as a hub for technological innovation and digital transformation, with major investments driving forward a knowledge-based economy. The country’s initiatives, like the powerful MeluXina supercomputer, are advancing critical research in areas such as artificial intelligence and climate modeling. As a leader in regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies like blockchain, Luxembourg is attracting international companies, solidifying its status as a forward-thinking tech ecosystem.
In this context, TNT symposium is set to address the pressing questions raised by technological progress. This year's event, themed "Back to the Future," will explore the ethical, practical and societal impacts of these advancements. With expert discussions spanning AI, augmented reality, and sustainable innovation, TNT Symposium promises an insightful journey into the technologies shaping our future and their role in Luxembourg's vision for digital leadership.
Looking toward tomorrow: What technologies are shaping the future?
Embark on a forward-thinking journey into the technologies that are set to revolutionize our daily lives. TNT Symposium, beginning at 4:00 PM, will feature a series of engaging talks and presentations from experts: Emmanuel Lazard, Assoc. Professor, Computer Science, Paris-Dauphine University, Pierre Mounier-Kuhn, Historian at CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) and at the University of Paris-Sorbonne, Maxime Derian, Rresearcher, Consultant, Entrepreneur and Co-founder of Technoréalisme.org, and more.
We will also explore thought-provoking ethical dilemmas surrounding their development, alongside the tantalizing question: how might our world have evolved if certain innovations had never been introduced? To deepen this exploration, we are thrilled to welcome students from Luxembourg Tech School, who will bring fresh perspectives and creative "What if" scenarios, pushing the boundaries of imagination.
A highlight of the event, the TNT Symposium will also announce this year’s THECIO25 honoree, succeeding Laurent Couturier (THECIO24), and present the prestigious Tech Firm of the Year award, last year awarded to LuxProvide.
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to engage in groundbreaking conversations and connect with the brightest minds in the field during the networking cocktail, dinner and after party.
CIOs and IT executives who want to learn more about this year’s theme, program, speakers, and registration details can find all relevant information on the event page.
