Luxembourg Blockchain Week 2022 - Luxembourg’s Biggest Blockchain Event Returns

Following
the success of the Luxembourg Blockchain Week launch edition in 2021, the
Luxembourg Blockchain Lab is delighted to announce the second edition which
will be held from the 3rd to 7th October 2022, in Luxembourg.
The Luxembourg Blockchain Week 2022
is a uniquely designed one week program open to the public, dedicated to
concrete applications of Blockchain applied to various sectors key to
Luxembourg and Europe. Bringing together top thought-leaders and pioneers in
the technology related to SDGs topics, finance and more, to share their stories
and insights, the event is creating a nurturing space for all to learn,
network, and collaborate.
Right in the heart of Luxembourg at
the National Sports and Culture Centre - d’Coque, the actionpacked event features
inspirational keynotes, discussions, crash courses, pitches, masterclasses,
workshops, as well as world-class networking opportunities for blockchain
enthusiasts.
This will provide a unique
oversight on the possibilities of the blockchain and distributed Ledger
technologies and what could be the impact for the citizens and the industries.
The Luxembourg Blockchain Lab is

Monday 3rd
October –It
will start with a pre-event, in the form of crash courses, to provide various
knowledge around the hot topics of the Week, it will give the participants all
the keys to fully grasp the power of the solutions presented. Then the
inauguration of the Luxembourg Blockchain Week with inspiring keynotes and an exclusive
VIP Dinner at the soon to be inaugurated SixSeven restaurant, nestled on the
top floor of the Royal Hamilius building and perched above the rooftop’s
hanging gardens.
Tuesday
4th October –
The sixth edition of the Infrachain Summit, focusing on operational blockchain
use cases in decentralized identities, verifiable credentials, non-fungible
token (NFT) and Metaverse/Web 3.0. H.E. the Prime Minister and Minister for
Digitalisation of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel, and the founder of Blockchain
Israel, Yael Rozencwajg, will give keynote speeches. Tickets are available on www.infrachainsummit.com.
Wednesday
5th October –
Launch edition of the Luxembourg Blockchain Lab Day with a focus on the use of
blockchain and DLT to help in the realisation of the Sustainable Development
Goals (SDGs), sustainability and social impact. The conference will welcome
experts from Blockchain Israel, Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Institute,
Moniflo, UNICEF Luxembourg, the EBSILUX Project and more, who will share their
innovative solutions through a masterclass, enriching presentations,
discussions, demonstrations, and a pitch track.
Thursday
6th October –
The morning of day four will be dedicated to art and culture with a
presentation of Rubey and a discussion around the unlocked opportunities to
invest in art. The afternoon will centre around finance with events in
collaboration with The Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) and
Société Générale.
Friday 7th
October – The
Luxembourg Blockchain Week will close with more side events to be announced and
notably a brunch around compliance in the field of digital assets organized by
Lëtzblock.
