Infrachain-led consortium was among the applicants selected to participate in the prototyping phase of the "Trust My Data" call for solutions by the Gov Tech Lab Luxembourg. The consortium includes Infrachain, Compellio, Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) and Talao. Applicants had to submit solution proposals for digitizing and securing the exchange of state-certified data. The solution developed by the consortium is based on the integration of Talao’s wallet with Compellio’s DLT Gateway.

In July, the Gov Tech Lab Luxembourg launched the "Trust My Data" call for solutions. Applicants had to submit solution proposals for digitizing  and securing the exchange of state-certified data. An additional constraint was using open standards and allowing for a secure and interoperable exchange of structured data with automatic authenticity verification.

Earlier this month, the Gov Tech Lab announced that an Infrachain-led consortium was among the candidates selected to participate in the prototyping phase of the call. The consortium includes Infrachain members Compellio, Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), and Talao.

The solution developed by the consortium is based on the integration of Talao’s wallet with Compellio’s DLT Gateway. The solution leverages the consortium’s expertise in the W3C verifiable credentials space, smart contract development, wallet development, as well as the integration of governmental (non-blockchain) systems with Distributed Ledger Technology. LIST will participate in the development of smart contracts and will host the private ethereum nodes that will be used to create the solution. Infrachain is mostly involved in the conceptual and testing phase, as well as in the consortium management.

Adnan Imeri, Technical Lead at Infrachain, said: "Infrachain was created to make Blockchain technology operational. Together with our community of corporate members, we actively drive the adoption of innovative solutions based on distributed ledgers."

Denis Avrilionis, CEO and founder of Compellio commented: "Creating bridges that bring the power of blockchain to governmental IT systems, like the MyGuichet.lu, can effectively strengthen the provision of trusted data exchanges between citizens and the State of Luxembourg. Compellio is delighted to contribute its blockchain technologies and expertise to this innovative govtech project."

Thierry Grandjean, Research engineer at LIST added: “Blockchain is a strategic research topic for LIST, especially for all its possible uses in the field of information security. Therefore, SSI is of particular interest for us.”

Thierry Thevenet, co-founder of Talao stated: "SSI Wallets are one of the main components that make self-sovereign identity possible. Talao is proud to provide its support to this challenging project."
