BACK to News Infrachain Challenge – The Blockchain Hackathon Goes Green for its 2022 Edition

Infrachain, the Luxembourg based Blockchain community for operational Blockchain projects, announces the opening of team registrations for the third edition of its Blockchain hackathon, the Infrachain Challenge. Infrachain Challenge will take place on 29th and 30th November 2022 at the GovTech Lab Luxembourg.
The 2022 edition of Infrachain Challenge will focus on Accelerating Public Energy Efficiency by developing tools based on the Public Sector Blockchain developed by the Ministry for Digitalisation who sponsors the hackathon.
The winning teams will be awarded a total of EUR 10.500,- in cash prizes. Plus, resulting concepts may possibly be turned into working applications.
In 2021, Let’sFixID won the challenge with their project MEETS ID, a decentralized electronic prescription management system that aims to digitize, transform and simplify current prescription processes, speed up transactions, reduce costs, and increase transparency and trusts.
Fabrice Croiseaux, Chairman of Infrachain a.s.b.l., declared that, "Guaranteeing a clean energy future is a major priority across every industry, not only to drive future economic growth but also to ensure a more sustainable world. With the Infrachain Challenge 2022, we expect teams to imagine innovative green solutions of tomorrow using the blockchain.”
