LëtzBlock, Luxembourg’s leading professional association for digital asset and Web3 professionals, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ami Nagata, Managing Director of Luxembourg at Zodia Custody (Europe), as its new President.
Ami joins the Board of LëtzBlock, and steps into her new role as President, supported in this transition by LëtzBlock's founder and long-standing President, Biba Homsy, a founding force of the association, who will continue to serve as a Board Member and remain an active, guiding presence in the organisation’s evolution.
“I’m excited to be able to further contribute to the digital asset ecosystem in Luxembourg,” said Ami Nagata. “LëtzBlock plays a critical role in uniting the industry, and I’m honoured to help lead its next phase of growth alongside Biba and the rest of the Board.”
A seasoned leader with deep expertise in digital asset custody and financial infrastructure, Ami’s appointment marks a strong signal of renewed momentum for the association. Under her leadership, LëtzBlock will focus on strengthening its core initiatives and reaffirming its role as the trusted voice of Luxembourg’s digital asset industry.
“I am proud of what LëtzBlock has achieved since its inception,” said Biba Homsy, Luxembourgish and Swiss lawyer, and I am happy to see a crypto-native player stepping up to take a leading role in the association. I have personally always identified Ami as the ideal person to lead the association forward, and I could not be more delighted she has accepted this important role. Ami and I will be working very closely together to bring fresh energy to LëtzBlock’s mission. I am excited for what’s ahead.”
LëtzBlock remains anchored in its core mission: to represent, connect, and empower digital asset professionals in Luxembourg. The association will continue to drive progress through its three working groups, which focus on regulation and crypto-asset service providers (CASPs), the fund industry and tokenisation, and payments and stablecoins.
