Name: Mr. Yannis Nakos
Designation: Process Mining, RPA & Digital Labor Sales Lead EMEA
Company: IBM
About
I’m born in 1975, 1 year before Apple, 2 days after Microsoft.
For any “Gen-Z”, I’d be old! Or let’s say…experienced. First lines of Basic code on a Sinclair ZX-81 at age 7, (first job as seller from 13 yo) and never dropped my fascination for having “machines doing the job” ever since.
I have led Digital Transformation service delivery for 20+ years with P&L ownership:
- starting with my own company in 1993, and then at Xerox, Fujitsu, and CSC/DXC,
- in the roles of Head of, managing consultant, program manager and solution architect
- as Managing Director of a 90 heads company focusing on C&SI and Security services,
- to prepare it for a Merger and Acquisition
- overall, 30 years of experience in Digital Transformation
I joined IBM in 2013, to lead the Enterprise Content Management software portfolio sales in BeLux (both countries, all routes to market, all segments).
In 2018, when IBM merged the “Content” and “Process” software business lines, I’ve been appointed to the “Strategic” segment in Belgium for the resulting Digital Business Automation (DBA) software pilar.
In 2019, IBM planned an extension of the Business Automation portfolio by adding Process Mining, RPA and AI-driven Digital Workers. I joined the EMEA sales leadership team on these subjects and portfolio components to lead the go-to-market for both direct and ecosystem-driven routes to market.
In this role I evangelize and advise these topics to CxO’s, enable IBMers across 140 countries and build the Ecosystem of business partners (based on a 2+2 approach) in the EMEA region.
All in all:
- I spent the last 30 years digitizing business processes with my own company and corporate market leaders
- I’m having a decade of experience supporting the AI-driven Digital Automation business of IBM.
