Valentin Plugaru is the Chief Technology Officer of LuxProvide, home of the MeluXina supercomputer, the upcoming MeluXina-AI optimised supercomputer at the core of the Luxembourg AI Factory, and the MeluXina-Q quantum computer.

With a lifelong passion for supercomputing, he contributes to national and European strategic initiatives that help shape the continent’s technological roadmap, while advancing Luxembourg's computing capabilities through its national supercomputing centre.

His work bridges fields such as artificial intelligence, high performance and quantum computing, focusing on how these technologies complement one another, and support scientists, businesses and public institutions in implementing their most ambitious projects.
