With over 25 years of work experience in IT leadership and consulting, I am the Director for Global IT Amazon Operations where I oversee the global IT delivery. I have a strong track record of driving IT innovation, AI, and transformation, as evidenced by my recognition as the CIO of The Year 2010 in Germany and Luxembourg, and the Innovation Flagship Award in 2010. Prior to joining Amazon, I was the Executive Senior Vice President and CIO at SIX Payment Services, where I led the IT operations and projects for a leading provider of payment solutions in Europe. Before that, I was a Senior Manager at Deloitte, and Accenture where I advised CEOs, CIOs, and COOs on strategy, operations and digital transformation for the financial industry. I have a master's degree in finance and marketing from EM Lyon business school, and a master's degree in business and information systems from Universität des Saarlandes. I am also a chartered computer engineer from the Academy of Applied IT Sciences.
