Appointed in September 2022 as Group Chief Digital Officer (CDO, CIO) of the European Investment Bank and European Investment Fund, Kaisu Christie is leading the digital transformation of this iconic EU bank and directing its Information and Technology Division. She has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of digital & technology. Throughout her career, Kaisu has evolved in various sectors such as finance, insurance, technology, commerce, telecommunications, consulting, energy and public services. She has led multiple business, digital and technological transformation projects, leveraging emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain. In her free time, she explores technology trends and reads. Kaisu Christie is driven by a desire to contribute to positive change within her community. Working for the EIB, one of the most important providers of funds for the transition to a more sustainable world, she puts technology at the service of a better future for all. In her previous role as SVP for Mortgages & Real Estate at OP Group Finland she was for many years considered by the Talouselämä Magazine as one of the 100 most influential Finnish businesswomen.
