About
Nesryne Mejri is a postdoctoral researcher in the Computer Vision, Imaging, and Machine Intelligence (CVI2) research group at the University of Luxembourg’s Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT). She holds an engineering degree in Industrial Computing and Control Systems and joined SnT in 2021, where she completed her master's in information and computer science and later her PhD in 2025 under the supervision of Prof. Djamila Aouada, head of CVI2.
Her research focuses on computer vision, deep learning, and media forensics, with an emphasis on detecting visual forgeries such as deepfakes. She works with Post Luxembourg on developing unsupervised deepfake detection systems aimed at strengthening digital identity security.
