As Deloitte Luxembourg begins its next chapter, new voices join the partnership

Deloitte Luxembourg is pleased to announce that seventeen professionals have joined its partnership. The group includes thirteen new Partners and four new Managing Directors, strengthening the firm’s professional capabilities across Advisory & Consulting, Audit & Assurance, Tax and Operations.

Effective 1 June 2026, Joachim Heukmes has succeeded John Psaila as CEO and Managing Partner of Deloitte Luxembourg. John Psaila served as Managing Partner since June 2018 and has completed his second consecutive mandate at the end of May 2026.

“Over recent months, our focus has been on ensuring the firm continued to move forward with confidence while supporting our people through change and maintaining the trust our clients place in us. During my two mandates, the partnership nearly doubled in size. But what matters the most, is that we achieved this while preserving the quality of our relationships, the trust built over time, and the sense that the firm always moved forward together. I would like to thank our clients, all the partners and our people for their trust, commitment, and support over the years. I would also like to thank the partners who served with me on the Executive Committee, together with the two Chairs and their supervisory boards, with whom I had the privilege to work during my mandates. Serving as CEO and Managing Partner of Deloitte Luxembourg has been one of the great honours of my professional life. While my mandate now comes to an end, my commitment to the firm does not. I look forward to continuing to contribute as a partner, and I wish Joachim, his team, and the newly appointed Partners and Managing Directors every success as they lead Deloitte Luxembourg through the years ahead,” said John Psaila, outgoing CEO and Managing Partner of Deloitte Luxembourg.

“Today marks both the beginning of a new chapter for our firm and the recognition of seventeen professionals whose leadership will help shape it. Investing in our people has always been what drives this firm, and it’s at the heart of our growth strategy. The Partners and Managing Directors we’re welcoming today are exactly that commitment in action — they’ve earned this, and they are the leaders who will carry our growth ahead. It is our responsibility to support by giving talented people the room to lead. We are confident that their strategic vision and commitment to excellence will help us in this new phase of growth, delivering exceptional value to our customers and stakeholders. I’m genuinely proud to celebrate them today, and excited about what we’ll build together,” concluded Joachim Heukmes, CEO and Managing Partner of Deloitte Luxembourg.
