Following strategic integrations and collaborations, particularly with the launch of NTT DATA Inc., the company has reached new heights, significantly impacting its service offerings and customer experiences. In this exclusive interview, key representatives from the firm share valuable insights on the NTT Data Luxembourg’s transformative journey and innovative strategies that position them as a leader in delivering comprehensive IT solutions tailored to the unique demands of the Luxembourg market.
How has the integration and synergy within different NTT entities, especially after the launch of NTT DATA Inc., enhanced your service offerings and customer experiences?
"The recent integration into NTT DATA Inc. marks a significant milestone in the evolution of NTT Luxembourg. This strategic move follows our earlier expansion four years ago, where we merged over 30 companies under NTT Ltd. That initial integration broadened our horizons, enabling us to offer solutions that were previously beyond our reach. Now, with NTT DATA Inc., our capabilities have been elevated even further."
"This synergy allows us to provide a more holistic approach to service delivery. We are not merely expanding our services; we are undergoing a transformation in how we address client needs. From the initial stages of business analysis and design to application development, integration, and infrastructure—coupled with telecommunications and the pivotal aspect of embedded cybersecurity—our approach is comprehensive."
"What sets us apart now is our ability to assume complete accountability for a project's outcome, from start to finish. This ensures that our clients receive not just a service, but a fully-fledged solution for their specific needs and challenges. The integration with NTT DATA Inc. isn't just an expansion—it's a leap towards a future where our service offerings and customer experiences are seamlessly interconnected, highly efficient, and impeccably secure."
Could you elaborate more explicitly on those new capacities in the field of software applications that NTT DATA Inc. brings to Luxembourg?
"The new capabilities can be classified into three distinct pillars. Firstly, within the realm of ‘Applications Development and Modernization’, our focus is on crafting innovative solutions. This involves the development of cutting-edge applications that seamlessly integrate data and Artificial Intelligence, associated with modernization practices, leveraging cloud-native platforms. Moving to the ‘Applications Integration’ pillar, our expertise comes to the forefront. Here, we specialize in the integration and customization of diverse platforms, including ServiceNow and Microsoft applications. Last but not least, the third pillar is centered around ‘SAP’. From consulting and implementation to migration, hosting, and managed services, our SAP offerings cover the entire spectrum. This versatility enables us to address the diverse requirements of our clients, providing robust solutions tailored to their unique business landscapes."
"In essence, the new capabilities brought by NTT DATA Inc. to Luxembourg represent a significant leap in our ability to offer comprehensive IT solutions."
As a SAP Global Preferred Supplier, what strategies do you implement to maintain high standards and stay ahead in a competitive market?
"Being an SAP Global Preferred Supplier, we implement several key strategies to maintain high standards and a competitive edge. Firstly, continuous learning and development are paramount. We ensure NTT DATA’s team is constantly trained and certified in the latest SAP technologies and methodologies. This expertise is critical in delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients. Secondly, we invest in developing proprietary tools and solutions that complement SAP’s offerings, providing added value to our clients. Lastly, we focus on building strong relationships with SAP and staying aligned with their roadmap, ensuring we are always at the forefront of the latest developments and innovations. Our status as a preferred supplier translates into several benefits for our clients, including priority access to SAP's latest solutions and updates, better pricing, and enhanced support. This status also means that our team is always up-to-date with SAP's roadmap, enabling us to provide strategic advice to our clients."
What specific strategies are you employing to develop and expand the SAP market locally, and how do you tailor your SAP solutions to meet the unique demands of the market in Luxembourg?
"Currently, our focus is on sectors where SAP has strong offerings – such as finance, manufacturing, and public services. These sectors are pivotal to Luxembourg's economy and represent areas where we can deliver the most impact with our SAP expertise. In Luxembourg, our strategy to develop and expand the SAP market hinges on a deep understanding of local business needs and regulatory requirements. We engage closely with local companies to identify their unique challenges and tailor our SAP solutions accordingly. For instance, in the financial sector, which is predominant in Luxembourg, we incorporate specific regulatory compliance features into our SAP solutions. This localized approach ensures that our solutions are not just technologically robust but also highly relevant and compliant with local business environments."
Could you share insights from any joint engagements, such as the collaboration with the international leader in the baking industry, CSM Ingredients, that showcase your collaborative strengths? What key learnings have you gathered that inform your future strategies?
"Our joint engagement with CSM Ingredients is a prime example of our collaborative strengths. In this project, we effectively combined our SAP expertise with CSM Ingredients' industry knowledge to create a solution that significantly improved their operational efficiency and data analytics capabilities. Key learnings from this and similar engagements include the importance of close collaboration with clients to understand their industry-specific needs. It has also reinforced the value of flexibility in our approach and the necessity of strong project management skills. These experiences are instrumental in shaping our future strategies, ensuring that we remain adaptable, client-focused, and innovative in our solutions."
