1. Please introduce your company and the products/services it offers.


"We are a start-up software company, our platform, Invoport, includes different modules to digitize the daily administrative services of fund administrators and managers.

For instance, it helps the users with the investor services by interacting digitally with the investors during the onboarding process and performing the periodic review, what makes the process accurate and painless, as well as organizing the capital notices, the dividend distributions, the capital account statements, the register and communicate the NAV and periodic financial reports to the investors."

Additionally, it includes functions that can be used internally for planning, coordinating, oversight purposes in addition to the performance review. It also helps interact digitally and real-time with different parties who can be external parties such as lawyers, auditors and fund and investment managers."


2. What led to the creation of your company?


"I believe in the role of technology for the well-being for the mankind. I have the passion to digitalize and automate the work we must do to have a better work environment.

When I started working in fund industry, I realized that the work is very complex and done manually without the support of any tool other than MS Office and simple accounting software what leads to many mistakes and loss of data.

The daily life at workplace was very stressful so I made a challenge to myself to employ all my programming skills to develop a tool that helps the professionals in the market have a good work environment to meet the increasing demand following the market expansion post Brexit and the lack of qualified human resources. Indeed, I must admit, this required much courage as I had to learn a lot to be able to create such a tool."


3. What is the most difficult or unexpected thing you've had to overcome on your journey?


"The scalability, we started with a pilot client to ensure that our platform works as planned before we go to the market.

While we were in beta launch, we were amazed by the outreach of the platform. Our clients could use it to deliver the services to investors who are based in different countries around the world, but we did not expect to serve from the first month an investor who is based in New Zeland!"


4. How is your offering different from your competitors and other market players?


"We commit to deliver cost-efficient solution by offering a very attractive billing plans to our clients that can be either variable or fixed fees.

We also offer support to the clients on the migration to our platform with no major cost, enable them contact our support team 24/7, in addition to training and free trial. More importanting, no hidden cost.

Further, we can make some customization upon request that can be free of charge up to certain level.

5. What did you find at LHoFT / What did LHoFT bring you?


"We have been part of the lastest edition of the Catapult Kickstarter programme where we could understand the The FinTech ecosystem in Luxembourg, how to build compelling value proposition and how to be able to express your ideas and convince your potential client with your solution.

We were finally one of the five laureates of the programme what gives access to a grant from the ministry  of economy that can also accelerate our growth."


6. What's next?


"We are adding more functionalities to our platform to further satisfy our clients and to be more attractive to new clients.

We believe in continuous improvement, and we are proud of the progress we made so far given the limited resources we have, and we are confident that we will deliver excellent innovative solutions for the fund industry players in Luxembourg and beyond."
