Luxembourg’s FinTech innovation marvel Melanie Moos, former KPMG Luxembourg Partner, and Senior Vice President of Clearstream, joins the Estonian-founded FinTech startup Depowise to disrupt the asset servicing industry.
Depowise is thrilled to announce the appointment of Melanie Moos as the Country Managing Director in Luxembourg, to automate asset servicing processes and boost customers' scalability and profitability.
“We are incredibly proud to attract such caliber of talent as Melanie Moos,” notes Artur Reiter, Co-Founder, and Co-CEO of Depowise. “We’re impressed by Melanie’s ability to drive change, lead transformative projects, and bring innovative tech solutions to complex challenges in the banking and financial industry. As Depowise is the only modern one-stop solution provider for the asset servicing industry, we are witnessing a huge demand for Depowise in European financial markets, including Luxembourg, where Melanie Moos will take a lead as Country Manager agile to help solving the key problems that stop asset servicing companies from scaling.”
Despite her young age, Melanie Moos, 33, has already made an exceptional career in the asset servicing industry, transforming the industry’s processes in Europe and Singapore.
Moos brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise in the capital markets sector, with a focus on investment funds platforms, asset servicing, and banking operations. Moos has demonstrated multifaceted leadership, delivering transformative programs and strategic missions for banks and capital markets stakeholders.
As a Partner at KPMG Luxembourg, Melanie Moos spearheaded large-scale transformation programs, led business development initiatives, and fostered high-performing teams of consultants. "Being a partner at KPMG required me to wear many hats, encompassing sales, delivery, staying abreast of all changes within my practice, and team management. I am now bringing these experiences to Depowise, with the goal of shaping and executing strategies that will accelerate the company's success," Moos says.
Prior to KPMG, Moos played a pivotal role as Senior Vice President at Clearstream, the European leading supplier of post-trading services, owned by Deutsche Börse. At Clearstream, Moos led product management for investment funds services, overseeing partnerships, acquisitions, and large-scale transitions in Europe and Singapore.
“I believe the financial sector is at a pivotal moment: AI technologies are becoming increasingly powerful, promising to dramatically transform the industry in the coming years. I want to be an active actor in this transformative journey,” Moos states.
“At Depowise, I found a superb team, outstanding technology, and very positive market feedback – all underscoring the company's potential to be the next FinTech unicorn,” says Melanie Moos.
“Depowise's mission to revolutionise operations resonates with me, because I've seen very closely how manual and risky current processes can be. I've been thoroughly impressed by what Depowise has achieved in just 2.5 years – it is already servicing world-leading banks and financial institutions, and its growth is unstoppable, “ she explains.
