The Luxembourg Tech School FinTech Hackathon is the final event of this
7th edition of the LTS Level ONE program.
After finishing the last module of the program, LTS students, aged
15-19, came together to create innovative solutions focused on the
"Digital Banks of the Future.
In this digital
age, designing the future of banking is more important than ever.
As more and
more people are using digital banks for performing day-to-day financial
operations, there is a growing need for robust and innovative financial
solutions.
To tackle this,
students from the LTS Level One and Level Up programs came together at the
House of Startups from 30th June to 2nd July with a goal of conceptualizing and
creating the next generation of innovative digital banking solutions.
After one day
of hacking the students got the opportunity to meet with experienced mentors
from the finance, technology, and business industries who help them to crystallise
and finalise their ideas.
On the final day, the students presented their ideas to an esteemed panel of jury, composed of Emilie Allaert, Head of Luxembourg Blockchain Lab, Anna Sobków, Senior Programme Manager at the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology, Jeronimo Azevedo, Chief Enterprise Architect at Post Luxembourg, Andrey Martovoy, Innovation and Digital Adviser at Fondation ABBL, who evaluated the projects based on their innovation, implementation, and presentation.
After
intensive discussion the jury announced the four winners:
1st Place: DivideX - Collective payment solution
2nd Place: Money Mentor - Empowering young people to learn about finance
3rd Place: Investor League - Stockmarket livestreaming by banks & SIMoney - Easy mobile payments via SMS

ready to tackle challenges, positioning them as not just the consumers of
tomorrow, but also the creators and digital leaders of the future.
