The Luxembourg Internet Days event is announcing a royal 10th edition!

LU-CIX I 12:23 pm, 6th July

Now in its 10th edition, the Luxembourg Internet Days event has become the unmissable occasion for over a thousand ICT, IT & OT professionals to gather, learn and share on a yearly basis.

Two days dedicated to IT & OT Security & Resilience

This year’s topic is Network Security & Resilience because the number of cyber-attacks targeting institutional organizations as well as private businesses has exploded in the past few years. Building on the confirmed success of its original straightforward design, the event visitors will benefit, free of charge on November 7 & 8, from a choice of high-quality focus conferences, interactive workshops, and panel discussions addressing in a technical and pragmatic way the key Internet related challenges they face. With the digital transformation, the Industrial IoT, resulting from the deployment of Industrial IoT for the optimisation of processes for manufacturing, logistics, transportation, etc., the Internet is everywhere, and Network Security & Resilience is becoming key for all sectors.

“Because no company, from any size and from any sector of activity, can claim to be safe from cyber-attacks, we have chosen to give a special attention to Critical Infrastructures and Industry as sources of inspiration for the other sectors, to help them all keep performing with ever more connected solutions leading to increasing security challenges” says Frédérique Ulrich, the event organiser. “We envision the Luxembourg Internet Days event as the “cross-industry Internet exchange momentum.”

Strengthen business opportunities with Portugal.

Portugal has been very engaged in Internet technology and cybersecurity for the last decades. With its inclusive cybersecurity strategy resulting in a huge national action plan, the di?erent entities responsible for cybersecurity cooperate to make it a safer, modern, and competitive country.

The Portuguese information technology (IT) sector is dynamic, resilient, mature, and well-integrated into global value chains.

Therefore, the Luxembourg Internet Days 2023 will put Portugal under the spotlight. It will be a timely occasion to share experiences and visions of cybersecurity and to start, or reinforce, existing links with a strong will to learn from each other.

Many institutional partners have already committed again with of the event.

The Luxembourg Prime minister, Mr. Xavier Bettel, and his Minister Delegate for Digitalisation, Mr. Marc Hansen, have already confirmed their presence for a visit of the Exposition area and an address.

The Ministry of State, the Ministry of Economy, the Chamber of Commerce, the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity, as well as the Representation of the European Commission in Luxembourg have all already committed again.

The major interest for the partnership of the event with Portugal this year is facilitated by both the historical proximity and its increasing relevancy business wise. It has already materialized with the very enthusiast involvement of the Portuguese ambassador in Luxembourg, H.E. Sousa e Abreu, who has also already confirmed his visit at the event and will leverage the opportunity for an inspiring allocution. AICEP Portugal Global (Portugal’s Trade & Investment Agency) on the one side, and the Luxembourg’s Embassy in Portugal on the other side, will bring key players from Portugal with the aim of making the Portugal image evolve and of strengthening transborder business relationships especially in terms of Digital transformation and cybersecurity.

Kappa Data, POST Luxembourg, and CEL, Gcore, LuxNetwork, Radware have already respectively engaged into this tenth edition as Diamond and Platinum Sponsors.
