Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), the world’s largest IT infrastructure services provider, and Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL), one of the largest universal banks in Luxembourg, announced a 5-year managed services agreement to support BIL’s digital strategy.
Building on the companies’ long-term partnership, Kyndryl will develop and deploy a custom private cloud and software defined network to host BIL’s new core banking applications that will provide the bank with more flexibility and agility. The service will be powered by Kyndryl Bridge, Kyndryl’s open integration platform that delivers AI-supported Operations and Sustainability Management. Kyndryl Bridge AI Ops will allow analysis of the bank’s IT operations and deliver insights that will enable BIL to improve the efficiency of their IT estate. Kyndryl will facilitate these advancements for BIL by providing a comprehensive suite of services, including consultancy, security, networking, and core enterprise solutions, complemented by the expertise of Kyndryl Consult.
Luxembourg’s oldest private bank, BIL is redefining its wide range of commercial and corporate banking services, through a digital transformation journey. To this aim, the bank’s IT organization is building a modern and reliable platform infrastructure to help ensure a future-proof architecture. In addition, a newly deployed efficient data platform will help guarantee high data quality and availability.
“Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL) has modernized its core banking system to enhance service delivery and client experience. The bank will continue to integrate intelligent automation across its operations, enabling faster responses and innovation. Additionally, BIL’s adoption of an API-driven platform allows for quick product launches and personalized customer experiences. To support that strategy, BIL and Kyndryl together will build a technology backbone!”, said Olivier Gorin, Chief Operations Officer, Banque Internationale à Luxembourg.
“We are proud to support BIL in its digital transformation by providing the best-in-class services using Kyndryl Bridge, Kyndryl’s open integration platform. As the bank's primary technology services partner, we will provide the bank with a secure and scalable private cloud solution and state-of-the-art cybersecurity capabilities.
